LIGHTNING RIDGE
WRITTEN BY
NEIL SEDAKA /
HOWARD GREENFIELD
Have you ever tried to dig down deep inside your mind.
Sometimes I close my eyes and then I find that suddenly, here I am, a hideaway
Where night just melts right into dated dreams, faded dreams and memories,
I roam the canyons of my soul
On Lightning Ridge,
Where opals shine
And peace is mine.
Old friends come to see me,
They would talk of days gone by.
Then I would share my secret hideaway and suddenly, right away, we ride away,
We'd share vibrations of a brighter day, better day, a hideaway.
It seems so good to cross the bridge
Where opals shine
And peace is mine,
On Lightning Ridge.
suddenly, here I am, a hideaway
Where night just melts right into dated dreams, faded dreams and memories,
I roam the canyons of my soul
On Lightning Ridge,
Where opals shine
And peace is mine.
On Lightning Ridge,
Where opals shine
And peace is mine.
On Lightning Ridge.
